 Mother Nature and the Mother Road were quit harmonious for most of the day today.  We got out early and really got to enjoy some great riding.  On our way to Seligman we stopped at the Roadkill Cafe On the property they had the Jail from the Arizona Territory in 1860 Seligman, AZ Awesome restrooms!!! With AC Yay!!! Winslow, AZ Gallup, New Mexico

 Waiting outside for the gift shop to open we took advantage of the picture opportunities. Today was our first day adventuring on the Mother Road Route 66.  We stayed in Williams the past two nights which is a big part of 66 but we were tired and needed to do laundry so we officially started today. Our first stop will be in Cool Springs Station, AZ.  In the 1850's this was discovered by the Native Americans as a life saving water source from the springs.  In the 1920's with the introduction of Route 66 and Automobiles traveling the area there was a need for a gas and water station. All  of the information about this being a watering and gas station confuses me because there was no water or gas to be had here. They have wonderful outhouses for you to use and you are welcome to buy bottled water. Regardless of the water/gas situation.  This is a must stop on the way to Oatman.  They have ish cool air inside the building and lots of memorabilia from 66 in...
